• When a rabies antibody titer (RNATT) is required, the blood sample must be taken within 90 days before travel and result ≥ 0.5 IU/ml — this is a pre-travel sample window, not a 90-day waiting period after the draw.

Month −3: confirm species, breed eligibility for UAE entry, and whether a rabies titer is required for this origin profile on the current MOCCAE portal. If a titer is required, schedule the Singapore blood draw so the sample date will still sit inside 90 days before the eventual flight, and keep the ≥0.5 IU/ml report with the file. Verify the ISO microchip before any rabies vaccination used for UAE import. Month −2: speak to the Changi live-animal desk for the intended carrier — Singapore Airlines cargo, Emirates cargo, Qatar Airways cargo via DOH, or Scoot only if the confirm flag turns into a written acceptance. Do not assume a passenger seat equals a crate booking. Weeks −5 to −3: apply for the MOCCAE import permit so issuance leaves enough of the 90-day validity for the booked SIN departure. Week −2: AVS-aligned health certificate timing, IATA crate check, and cargo booking confirmation. Departure day is a Changi cargo handover, not a walk-up at T3 with a soft carrier. Arrival in the UAE is a DXB or DWC cargo and veterinary release pathway. After MOCCAE release, the handler says where to collect. This is a planning narrative, not a guaranteed SLA.
