• When a rabies antibody titer (RNATT) is required, the blood sample must be taken within 90 days before travel and result ≥ 0.5 IU/ml — this is a pre-travel sample window, not a 90-day waiting period after the draw.

Confirm on the MOCCAE portal whether a rabies titer is required for this origin profile. If yes, schedule the blood draw so the sample date will still fall within 90 days before the eventual flight and keep the ≥0.5 IU/ml result with the file. Verify the ISO microchip before any booster that the UAE file will rely on. Week −8 to −6: Saudi veterinary path for the export health certificate window; start the MOCCAE import-permit application so issuance leaves enough of the 90-day validity for the booked cargo date. Do not treat a MEWA import permit as relevant — that document belongs on the outbound twin. Week −4: lock live-animal acceptance. Saudia seeds as cabin-or-cargo with a rules flag; Emirates and Etihad as cargo; flynas as confirm; Qatar Airways as cargo via DOH.
