Dubai → IndiaDubai to India Pet Relocation — Exporting Your Pet to India
Moving a pet from Dubai to India is an AQCS / DGFT problem, not a rewrite of the live India→Dubai page.
Direct answer
How do I bring a pet from Dubai into India?
Secure the AQCS Advance NOC for the correct Indian pathway (residence transfer, re-import or short stay), enter via a designated airport, then time the MOCCAE export certificate and cargo booking to that NOC. This is not UAE import.
Exporting a pet from Dubai for India
Moving a pet from Dubai to India is an AQCS / DGFT problem, not a rewrite of the live India→Dubai page. Every dog or cat needs an Advance No Objection Certificate from the Animal Quarantine & Certification Station, applied for before embarkation, and must enter through a designated Indian airport (Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai — plus Kolkata on the DGFT list; our seed highlights DEL, BOM, BLR, HYD and MAA). Pathway choice matters: Transfer of Residence, re-import, or short-stay licensing are different files. UAE work is the export health certificate and the airline product leaving DXB/DWC/AUH — not another MOCCAE import-permit essay. We deliberately do not reuse inbound “titer wait into Dubai” or invented India-package fee language on this URL.

What is special about this corridor
India outbound is a pathway file, not a single “pet visa.” Animal Quarantine & Certification Station issues an Advance No Objection Certificate that must exist before embarkation — source-of-truth timing is at least seven working days before the pet leaves, and travel without a valid NOC is the usual refusal. Know which published door you are using: Transfer of Residence (overseas-stay and relocation evidence), re-import (the original AQCS export health certificate if the animal left India earlier), or short stay (a DGFT import licence whose committee timing can be monthly). Those three packs do not share evidence, so a tourist calendar on a ToR story is a rewrite, not a stamp. Entry is only through designated airports. Our seed lists DEL (Delhi), BOM (Mumbai), BLR (Bengaluru), HYD (Hyderabad) and MAA (Chennai); DGFT names Kolkata. A family city off that list is a surface transfer after a designated port, not a reason to invent an airport. Health building blocks are typically an ISO microchip before rabies vaccination and a current rabies vaccine. Secondary sources say India may not require a rabies titer for import — verify AQCS. Do not copy the live India-to-Dubai inbound titer story onto this URL. If a titer is later required to re-enter the UAE, that inbound sample must be taken within 90 days before travel and read ≥ 0.5 IU/ml; that is a different movement. UAE work is the MOCCAE export certificate timed to the NOC. Quote-only: Get Route Checked or WhatsApp +971504782999. No fee numerals.
Leaving Dubai for India
Destination rules first
Government of India DAHD / AQCS and DGFT pet-import pathways
- Apply for an Advance NOC from AQCS before the pet embarks (SOT: at least seven working days before embarkation). Travel without a valid NOC is the usual refusal mode.
- Know which of the three published pathways you are on: Transfer of Residence (overseas-stay and relocation evidence), Re-import (original AQCS export health certificate), or Short Stay (DGFT import licence — committee timing can be monthly).
- Entry is allowed only through designated airports/seaports. Seed gateways we list are DEL, BOM, BLR, HYD and MAA; DGFT also names Kolkata. Quarantine, when required, is at the government station for that port.
- ISO microchip before rabies vaccination and a current rabies vaccine are the usual health building blocks. Secondary sources say India does not require a rabies titer for import — verify the current AQCS instruction for your pathway rather than copying UAE inbound titer rules.
- Airline mode leaving Dubai is independent of the NOC. Emirates and Etihad seed as cargo; Air India as cabin-or-cargo (varies); IndiGo generally does not accept pets; Qatar Airways as cargo via DOH. Confirm live policy.
- No package or government fee numerals on this page. Confirm AQCS/DGFT charges on official channels.

UAE exit paperwork (high level)
- Leaving the UAE needs MOCCAE exit documentation (veterinary health certificate / export pathway via MOCCAE digital services) — plan this after destination rules are clear.
- Export health certificate validity is commonly a short window (SOT cites 30 days from issue for the export-certificate pathway — verify on the MOCCAE portal before you book).
- Do not reuse inbound MOCCAE import-permit logic for an outbound move. A 90-day import permit is for entering the UAE, not for leaving it.
- Airline acceptance leaving Dubai can differ from the inbound product on the same brand — confirm current policy for the outbound origin-destination pair.
- No package or government fee numerals on this page — confirm fees on official portals; Dubai Pet Relocation quotes on request.

Where this corridor usually fails
The distinctive failures on Dubai-to-India are pathway mix-ups and airport discipline. Families file Transfer of Residence evidence when the trip is a six-week home visit that actually needs a short-stay DGFT licence — or they treat re-import as a casual return without the original AQCS export certificate. Others apply for the Advance NOC after the tickets are bought and miss the seven-working-day-before-embarkation fuse. Designated-port errors are quiet: a job is in Pune or Kochi, the NOC is written for BOM or BLR, and someone “just books closer” to a city that is not a pet-import airport on the Indian list. IndiGo is the passenger-habit trap — the seed labels that carrier generally_not for pets — while Air India is cabin_or_cargo with a varies flag and Emirates, Etihad and Qatar Airways seed as cargo. A confirmed human seat on a low-cost bank is not a live-animal booking. Inbound copy-paste is the last trap: owners ask for a MOCCAE import permit to leave Dubai, or they insist on an RNATT because the India-to-Dubai page talked about titres for UAE entry. Secondary SOT says India may not require a rabies titer for import; verify AQCS rather than inventing a wait. We will not print INR or AED package bands that pretend those pathway choices are one SKU. Get Route Checked when you can name ToR, re-import or short stay and the designated city.
How a India move actually works
Scenario: a product manager ending a Dubai assignment, transferring residence to Bengaluru with one adult cat, microchipped, rabies-current, no plan to re-export to the UAE in the same season. Destination-backwards. Month −2: decide the pathway is Transfer of Residence, not a short-stay licence and not re-import (the cat never left India through AQCS). Collect the overseas-stay and relocation evidence AQCS will expect. Confirm BLR is an acceptable designated airport for that file — it is on our seed — and that the family’s collection plan is Bengaluru, not a surprise diversion to Hyderabad. Apply for the Advance NOC so the seven-working-day-before-embarkation rule is comfortable, not heroic. While AQCS processes, ignore IndiGo as a default: seed mode is generally_not. Shortlist Emirates or Etihad cargo from DXB, DWC or AUH, or Air India only after confirming the live cabin_or_cargo product for that OD; Qatar via DOH is cargo if a connection is even useful. When the NOC is in hand, book the MOCCAE export health certificate to the same departure week — that is UAE exit paper, not a 90-day import permit. Flight day is an Indian designated-port inspection story; quarantine, if AQCS requires it, is at the government station for that port. Do not build a “titer wait” into this calendar because an inbound twin mentioned titres for Dubai. This timeline is a planning narrative, not a guaranteed duration. Main airports — India ← from Dubai
Indian seed gateways are DEL (Delhi), BOM (Mumbai), BLR (Bengaluru), HYD (Hyderabad) and MAA (Chennai). Those five are the only Indian cities we list from the corridor seed. DGFT also names Kolkata as a designated port; we mention that official extra so you do not think the map is secretly national, but we do not add Kolkata as a sixth seed row or invent Cochin, Pune, Ahmedabad or Goa as pet-import airports. The Advance NOC, the airway bill and the AQCS station must agree on one designated port. A human connecting through DEL to a domestic flight does not automatically make the crate eligible for the same connection. Quarantine, when required, is at the government station for that port — not a private kennel you pick on a map app. UAE departures are DXB (Dubai International), DWC (Al Maktoum / Dubai World Central) and AUH (Abu Dhabi International). DXB often holds the passenger booking while the animal is accepted as cargo; DWC is the cargo-centric ramp; AUH is the Etihad alternative. Choosing BOM because the family “knows Mumbai airport” is fine only when the NOC is a Mumbai file; choosing MAA because Chennai is closer to a Tamil Nadu town is fine only when AQCS wrote Chennai. We are not affiliated with any Indian airport authority. Confirm live-animal acceptance and the named AQCS office before you tell HR the arrival city.

Airlines that can move pets on this corridor
Seed airlines are Emirates (cargo, DXB hub), Etihad (cargo, AUH), Air India (cabin_or_cargo, seed: cargo/cabin varies), IndiGo (generally_not, seed: generally not pets) and Qatar Airways (cargo via DOH). Every row is unverified. IndiGo is the corridor-specific warning: do not build a Bengaluru or Mumbai passenger fare and assume the cat can ride. Air India’s varies flag means cabin on one aircraft and date can be cargo — or a refusal — on another; confirm the live OD, do not treat “Air India flies pets” as a rule. Emirates and Etihad seed as cargo from the UAE even on dense passenger banks. Qatar Airways is a cargo connection via Doha, with the usual live-animal connection risk, not a cabin story. This page is not an IndiGo or Air India policy guide; confirm current policy on the carrier site. We are not affiliated with any of these airlines and we do not publish cargo-rate numerals. Inbound India-to-Dubai mode notes do not transfer. If the only open human ticket is IndiGo and the NOC is real, the pet still needs a different product. Get Route Checked or WhatsApp +971504782999 with pathway, designated airport and whether anyone has already bought a no-pet fare.
